Suu Balm for deep moisturization and rapid itch relief

Itchy skin is one of the most frustrating and annoying sensations you can have. Just thinking about a persistent, itch is enough to drive you mad.

Dr Tey Hong Liang, who runs the Itch Clinic at the National Skin Centre in Singapore, a regional centre of excellence in skin disorders decided to create a powerful solution for this problem.

Suu Balm™ is a dual benefit skin care product for deep moisturisation and rapid itch relief. It is designed for anybody with dry, itchy skin, to provide rapid itch relief and to help increase the frequency of moisturising. Breaking the itch-scratch cycle will help prevent further damage to the skin from scratching.

My husband tried this and he liked Suu Balm's specific ingredient to provide rapid itch relief – menthol – which acts by cooling the skin, and triggering receptors in the nerves in the skin, blocking the transmission of itch signals to the brain. At the same time, Ceramides help in restoring his skin’s moisture.

He mentioned that the texture is so light, it immediately penetrates his skin, leaving the surface smooth and comfortable. After 5 minutes, his itch diminished as his skin works up its moisture balance.

The ingredients doesn't include steroids or parabens so it's safe for him to cuddle with our baby right after taking a bath.

Glad that we didn't have to go to Singapore to get this because Suubalm is now available at @Mercurydrugph stores at a discounted price until stocks last.

I really love NESTLÉ® MOMMALOVE® Lactation Milk Drink

August is National Breastfeeding Month. All month long, people around the world are celebrating the amazing benefits of breastfeeding, while continuing the fight to ensure women have the support they need to breastfeed.

In the Philippines, Senator Pia Cayetano introduced this bill and called it the "National Breastfeeding Awareness Month'' in order to protect, promote and support breastfeeding in the Philippines as the normal, natural and preferred method of feeding infants and young children.

There is no other natural food in the world than breastmilk and no other natural choice than breastfeeding. Breastmilk is the perfect, irreplaceable gift a mother can give to her baby. It is the best start a baby can have in life.

I didn’t have a hard time breastfeeding my baby because she easily learned how to latch properly since day 1, and I had a lot of milk supply because I make sure to incorporate nutrient-rich kinds of food like fresh fruits and vegetables, oats and grains, and lots of water.

However, when my baby started eating solid food at 6 months, my supply went down because she didn’t need to drink from me more often.

Hence, when I heard that Nestle has recently released the new NESTLÉ® MOMMALOVE® Lactation Milk Drink, I was so excited to try it. It’s the tastiest way ever invented to get your malunggay and wheat flakes which are both proven as effective galactagogues. These are substances that can help breastfeeding mothers to increase breastmilk supply.

Besides the 1,200mg of malunggay and wheat flakes, for fiber, it also has added nutrients such as iron, folate and calcium that breastfeeding moms like me need to ensure I’m well-nourished while I take care of my baby.

I drink it in the morning, before doing my work-from-home tasks and it helps to keep me full. This lactation support drink is truly a delicious way to boost milk production as it comes in 2 flavors – Vanilla and Chocolate.

I enjoy my Mommalove by mixing it with my favorite smoothie or just mixing it with hot water. The individually wrapped packets make it easy to store and take out anytime it’s needed. Motherhood made a little easier!

For moms-on-the-go it may be purchased per sachet with SRP (Suggested Retail Price) of 35 Pesos. Moms can also buy by box of 10 sachets with SRP of 350 Pesos.

It's available at Mercury Drug and Lazada. You may also visit their Facebook page to know more details.

Our Mommy-Baby Bonding: Making Cake from Playdough using JOHNSON'S Baby Lotion

We are so grateful to Mommy
Dette M. Zulueta
, Founder of Millennial Moms PH, for teaching us how to make this playdough from
JOHNSON'S baby
lotion and cornstarch. And she's right, it really smells so good!

I designed here a cake with toppers for my baby who is turning 11 months old soon! We have the number 11 birthday candles with flame, a heart, a blue rose and 2 leaves.

These are our JOHNSON'S baby products at home. I used the Johnson's Cottontouch face & body lotion, cornstarch and some food coloring.

My baby also enjoyed making this with me, and playing with the cornstarch and lotion. It's a very meaningful sensory experience for her since it's her first time to touch something like this. Look how focused she is in mixing her first ever playdough!

I also love using playdough when I was young, but knowing that there are harmful chemicals present in clay materials, I don't want my baby to touch anything that can harm her.

That's why this Johnson's Cottontouch face & body lotion playdough is a blessing because it has no added parabens, pthlates or dyes. I've been using this lotion since I was pregnant and when I gave birth to my baby, she's also using it since it's ultra light and gentle for newborn's sensitive skin. I learned about this product from the first Millennial Moms PH event I attended last year.

She really enjoys playing with it because it's so soft!!!

But it's still a bit crumbly, so I added more lotion.

Yay! We got the perfect combination! It's so soft and silky!!!
She's now more focused in playing with it!

See! She's so happy because she was able to play with clay for the first time!

At first, I had no idea what to make. I just made random shapes with the playdough.

I used the Johnson's baby powder as a rolling pin.

Here are my blue fingers after mixing a few drops of food coloring to the playdough. This is my favorite color!

No, it's not blood. It's the red food coloring. :)

I used my baby's toy knife to shape / slice the playdough. Feeling expert!

After playing with the playdough, my baby became hungry, so I was shaping the artworks while she's directly latched! Yes I'm breastfeeding here while designing the blue rose and heart. And actually, while putting all the food coloring, kneading the mixture, and taking photos at the same time! Talk about mommy multi-tasking!

When she woke up, everything is done, and I presented it to her on her cake platter

And she enjoyed her first clay cake smash!

Someone's telling me that this baby wants to take a bath already with her Johnson's Baby products! :)

This is truly a perfect Mommy & Baby bonding activity! Here's my baby displaying her super wide smile after our awesome play time! (still with cornstarch all over her onesie and smelling so fragrant, thanks to Johnson's baby lotion!)

I'm very grateful to see my baby so delighted with our bonding activity!
Thank you very much, #MillenialMomsPH #MomTribePH
